Disembodied theatre: the state of radio fiction in Europe

From Ireland to Croatia, from France to Russia, how are archives and cultural heritage treated, when moving in, if at all, to the new digital platforms? Marie Wennersten, Swedish radio drama director and Chairman of the Radio Drama group of the European Broadcasting Union, looks at current works and trends in terms of prioritized versus homeless productions. 

Marie Wennersten, educated in Film at Stockholm University, Radio at The Dramatic Institute and Art and Digital Media at Royal College of Art, currently working as director and producer at the Radio Drama Dept. at Swedish Radio. In 2001, she started the web based project SRC, radio for art and ideas.
